Kuwait: The new government includes 15 ministers
Today, Crown Prince of Kuwait Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issues an order appointing Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister.
Today, Tuesday, Kuwaiti Crown Prince Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued an order appointing Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister and 15 ministers in the new government.
The Amiri Diwan said, in a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, that, "after reviewing the constitution, an Emiri order was issued to appoint Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister," calling on the Prime Minister to inform this decree to the National Assembly and implement it from the date of its issuance.
According to the statement, "The Emiri order included the appointment of 15 ministers, including Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah as Minister of Foreign Affairs."

Yesterday, Monday, local Kuwaiti media published what it said were "the features of the new government formation that the Prime Minister-designate Sabah Al-Khaled will present to the Emir of Kuwait."
Al-Qabas newspaper quoted government sources as saying that Sabah Al-Khaled will meet today, Tuesday, with the new ministers, in preparation for sending the formation details to the Emir of Kuwait. The sources identified Fahd Al-Shariaan as the Ministry of Commerce, Youssef Al-Obeid as the Ministry of Finance, and Jamal Al-Jalawi as the Ministry of Justice.
