Latest US-UK aggression on Yemen to not go unanswered: Ansar Allah
Palestinian Resistance factions condemn the aggression carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on Syria as well as the joint US-UK aggression on Yemen.
The latest American-British aggression on Yemen will not go unanswered, affirmed the political bureau of the Ansar Allah movement.
"The American-British airstrikes on Yemen constitute cowardly aggression and a blatant violation of Yemen's sovereignty, as well as a clear breach of all international laws, norms, and conventions," Ansar Allah stressed.
The movement emphasized that "the aggressive airstrikes will not deter Yemen from continuing its support and solidarity with Gaza and Lebanon in confronting the Israeli arrogance backed by the United States."
According to the group, the latest aggression comes within the context of Israeli and American escalation against Palestine, Lebanon, and Yemen, and as part of a comprehensive targeting of the nation, its sanctities, and its just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian issue.
"The Yemeni people will not abandon Palestine and the Palestinian cause, as this is a principled stance rooted in faith, ethics, and humanity," Ansar Allah made it clear.
Palestinian factions condemn US, UK, Israeli aggression in region
In a related context, Hamas condemned the recent US-British aggression on Yemen and the latest Israeli airstrikes on Syria, calling both attacks a clear indication of the "Zionist-American partnership in aggression against the region."
In a statement issued Thursday, Hamas emphasized that "the continued criminal policies of the US administration, targeting Yemen, are aimed at forcing it to stop its rightful operations in support of the Palestinian people."
The group expressed its "full solidarity with the Yemeni people," praising Ansar Allah for their "brave stances" and underscoring that Yemen's support for Gaza and Lebanon would not waver.
Hamas urged Arab and Islamic countries, as well as Resistance fighters worldwide, to "intensify efforts and provide all forms of support to the Palestinian people and their resistance."
The movement linked the aggression on Yemen to broader regional escalations, asserting that it is part of "Israel's expansionist plans" that target various countries in the region.
US directing 'Israel's' wars in region
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) also issued a strong condemnation of the US military's involvement in Yemen, with a statement describing the aggression as "an arrogant display of power."
PIJ indicated that the actions prove "beyond a doubt that the US administration is directing the wild war waged by the criminal Zionist entity against the people of our region."
It rejected American claims of protecting international trade, calling them "pure lies used to justify war crimes," and pointed out that "Yemeni forces have only targeted ships linked to the Zionist regime" in an effort to lift the blockade on Gaza.
The PIJ condemned the bombing of civilians under the pretext of attacking military sites, adding, "These are the same lies that Israel spreads when justifying its own crimes."
The Resistance group voiced confidence in Yemen's ability to respond to this assault, stressing, "The Yemeni people and their brave forces will certainly retaliate against this unjust aggression."
Call for action against US, Israeli interests
The Palestinian al-Mujahideen Movement echoed similar sentiments, calling the aggression a "continuation of the international war on Yemen" due to its strong support for the Palestinian cause.
In a statement, the movement said the attack followed "the military and intelligence defeats" inflicted on the US-led coalition by Yemeni forces, and part of an effort to break "Israel's" maritime blockade.
The al-Mujahideen Movement referred to the aggression as part of an ongoing "Zionist-American war" on the region and called for "targeting Israeli and American interests" as a way to stop the attacks. The group reiterated its "unwavering appreciation" for Yemen's steadfast support of the Palestinian people, even in the face of war, conspiracy, and siege.
Finally, the statement lauded Yemeni leadership, saying, "The positions of [Sayyed] Abdul Malik al-Houthi remain deeply rooted in supporting the oppressed in Palestine."
Early Thursday, US and British forces launched around 15 airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and the city of Saada, with the use of B-2 bombers, according to US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
The deployment of the strategic bomber comes amid a remarkable performance of the Yemeni Armed Forces' Air Defense Force, which has downed at least 11 MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aircraft systems (UASs) over the past year. Yemeni air defenses have also constituted a threat to US-UK fighter aircraft.
Yemen's military has also launched a multifaceted naval campaign against Israeli-affiliated ships and later US-UK-affiliated vessels in nearby waters.
Meanwhile, a Syrian military source confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces launched an airstrike on a site near the southeastern entrance of the city of Latakia on Thursday, injuring several civilians and causing significant material damage to the targeted area.
The source did not provide further details on the specific site targeted but confirmed the extent of the damage and injuries. This latest incident follows a series of Israeli attacks on Syrian territory.
