This comes at a time when the Lebanese-Palestinian borders have been witnessing recent tension, with Lebanese military sources confirming to Al Mayadeen that the Israeli occupation has placed concrete blocks in the Kfar Chouba hills, within Lebanese territory.
The sources indicated that these cement blocks, near the Baathiel area in the Kfar Chouba hills, breach the so-called "withdrawal line," which is not recognized by Lebanon, by about three meters and a width that exceeds 10 meters.

Beirut sent a complaint to UNIFIL forces against the Israeli breach and demanded the removal of the concrete blocks.
