The Palestinian Resistance group Areen Al-Ousoud [Lions' Den] announced, as they had promised in their statement mourning martyr Uday Al-Tamimi, that they were able to spot and target an IOF force on foot in the vicinity of the Gerizim military checkpoint, south of Nablus, in the West Bank, before the break of dawn.

The group's statement read that "the fighters of the Lions' Den were able, before dawn today, to spot IOF troops in the vicinity of the Gerizim military checkpoint and rained the force with a heavy barrage of bullets, causing severe injuries."

According to the statement, "At the same time, another group of Areen Al-Ousoud fighters were waiting for the IOF troops in the vicinity of another checkpoint and targeted them with a heavy barrage of bullets, causing confirmed injuries, noting that all the Resistance fighters safety withdrew from the scene."

The Resistance group stressed in its statement that these operations were in response to the martyrdom of Al-Tamimi which they promised would be before the break of dawn. However, the statement continued to state that after sunrise, the group is planning for something else against the IOF, adding that "the blood of Uday al-Tamimi and the martyrs of Palestine became the fuel of a volcano that only God can extinguish."

Palestinian factions bless the operation at the entrance to "Ma'aleh Adumim" and mourn Al-Tamimi

"The occupation would be deluded if it thinks that the martyrdom of the hero Uday Al-Tamimi...can stop this escalating intifada," Hamas said, adding that the occupation "is attempting to restore the image of its army and security services, by celebrating the killing of martyr Uday Al-Tamimi, but their joy will not last because the rebellious youth will continue their glorious revolution."

"The martyr hero Uday Al-Tamimi will remain a Palestinian national icon who symbolizes the courage of the Palestinian in his struggle against the occupier, and the valor of the fighter who is ready to sacrifice his most valuable possession. We will always be waiting for a new Uday who will keep fighting against this occupier until the goals of our people are achieved with freedom and independence," Hamas added.

In turn, the Al-Ahrar Movement said that the operation at the entrance to the "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement was "a response to the continuous aggression of the occupation against our people and its siege of Nablus and Shuafat."

The operation confirms that "we stand before a new Palestinian generation that embodies heroism and defiance of the occupation," the movement added.

Likewise, resistance factions in Palestine mourned Al-Tamimi, saying that "the blood of the martyrs will remain a beacon and a strong impetus to ignite the flame of revolution and resistance until the enemy is defeated and wiped away from our land and our pure soil."

"The heroic operation of 'Ma'aleh Adumim' is a message written with blood, fire, and gunpowder to the Zionist enemy that the Palestinian people and their resistance" will remain steadfast and "will continue to resist until the enemy is swept away from all the blessed soil of Palestine."
