Maduro: Neither threats nor sanctions to stand in way of Venezuela
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro confirms his country's imminent accession to BRICS, highlighting the irreversible trend toward a new world order and the consolidation of this group.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, during his weekly program, described the US as completely unreliable, stating, "We must rely on our own creativity, minds, ideas, work, strength, and capacity for innovation."
Maduro affirmed that his nation will soon become a member of BRICS, emphasizing the unstoppable shift towards a new global order and the strengthening of this alliance.
The Venezuelan President further underscored that no threat, warning, or sanction can halt the Venezuelan people, who "fought for independence against colonialism and to end any form of hegemony."
The Venezuelan President demanded a public apology from a UN office, having previously stated that it had abruptly transformed into an internal espionage and conspiracy office, prompting Caracas to suspend its operations within its territory.
Guyana managed by ExxonMobil
In this week's episode, Maduro addressed the issue of Guyana, claiming that President Irfaan Ali does not hold power there, stressing that the actual leadership of the country is managed by ExxonMobil.
"We are men of peace, but we have a people, we have the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and a civil-military union to defend what is ours when it needs defending," he added.
Maduro strongly condemned the theft of the Venezuelan Emtrasur airplane, calling it "an act of piracy, robbery, and plunder, and the first person involved in this act of piracy is [Argentine President] Alberto Fernández."
Maduro announced upcoming visits to Venezuela by the Foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey in the coming days.
Regarding the war in Ukraine, the Venezuelan president noted that Kiev plotted a coup to wage war against Moscow, but Russia is stronger and conquering the war, adding, "It is a matter of time for Russia to showcase its historical presence, strength, and continued progress."
CIA, Venezuelan Right accused of plotting Maduro's assassination
Venezuelan ministers dismissed the "concerns" expressed by the United States government regarding the situation of Rocio San Miguel, the President of the NGO Citizen Control. The latter was detained on Friday in connection with the White Bracelet conspiracy case.
"The shameless narrative whereby you try to ignore the country's laws and the legitimacy of a sovereign State never ceases to amaze. At this point everyone knows you have always been part of the strategy to isolate and sanction Venezuela," Communications Minister Freddy Nanez said, in reference to the NGOs operating as associates of the US Department of State.
In relation to the White Bracelet case, Yvan Gil, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, highlighted the involvement of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in the recent attempts to destabilize Venezuela from abroad.
On Tuesday, Attorney General Saab condemned an intense foreign-led campaign against the Venezuelan state and judiciary, orchestrated by the same factions that have consistently shown disdain for democratic institutions.
