The rallies in Saada condemned the American obstruction of the Omani mediation efforts to reach a solution, according to a statement issued by the organizers earlier on Friday.

The statement noted that the rallies, in the city of Saada, in northern Yemen, served as a reaffirmation of the Yemeni people's "loyalty to the martyr President Al-Sammad and in solidarity with the Palestinian people," stressing that the people of Yemen are convicted of "the American role in the aggression against Yemen, which determined martyr Al-Sammad as a target for the Saudis."

The statement also highlighted the right of the Yemeni people to confront the Saudi aggression and regain their wealth, while also voicing their rejection of all forms of foreign military presence in the Yemeni provinces and islands.

Al-Houthi: Washington is directing the aggression on Yemen

The leader of Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, confirmed, on Thursday, that the aggression on Yemen has systematically led to the killing of thousands of civilians and the destruction of the Yemeni infrastructure.

Speaking on the anniversary of martyr Saleh Al-Sammad, Al-Houthi said the movement conducted an investigation that led it to the decisive conclusion that the US is the one that set Al-Sammad as a primary target for Saudi Arabia, pointing out that "the Americans admit that they are the ones directing the bombing operations and behind the supervision over the aggression since its start."

"The Saudi and Emirati role in the aggression is execution, as they implement what Washington dictates to them,” he added.

The Yemeni leader stressed that “the coalition of aggression has significantly harmed the Yemeni people, through its killings, destruction, siege, and starvation, not to mention the grave issues at the health level."
