The number of martyrs in the Israeli occupation's aggression on the south of Syria's Homs has risen to four, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported Monday.

Our correspondent added that an Israeli drone struck a truck on the outskirts of the Syrian city of al-Qusayr.

The area is frequently targeted by the Israeli occupation forces due to its strategic importance and closeness to the Lebanese borders.

Hezbollah mourns martyrs

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah - announced that its Resistance fighters targeted the Israeli site of Jal al-Alam with rocket weapons, hitting it directly.

In separate statements, the Resistance confirmed that it targeted the Israeli positions of Metula and al-Marj, as well as the outpost overlooking.

The resistance announced that it struck occupied al-Malikiyah and an Israeli assembly point in its vicinity with artillery shells.

Hezbollah also targeted a settlement and an assembly point at the eastern entrance to the village of Ghajar and hit it directly, inflicting several casualties upon them, confirming that it witnessed the transfer of the wounded from the side.

The Islamic Resistance published footage showing the bombing of spy equipment and positions belonging to the Israeli occupation forces, specifically in the Branit barracks, the Ramta site, and the Metula settlement.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that the occupation artillery shelled the outskirts of the towns of Houla and Wazzani.

In a related context, the resistance honored the martyrs in the al-Quds Road, Muhammad Abbas Abbas, from the town of Barish in southern Lebanon, Milad Adnan al-Hujairi from Baalbek in the Bekaa, and Hussein Ali Hassan from the town of Badnayel in the Bekaa.

A similar airstrike took place in late February, wherein the IOF targeted a truck in Syria's al-Qusayr in the countryside of Homs near the border with Lebanon.

This comes after the Israeli occupation increased its attacks on Syrian territories, when Israeli fighter jets launched several missiles from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, targeting a residential building in the Kafr Sousa neighborhood in Damascus. The aggression resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians and the injury of another.

Syria issued heightened warnings in the recent period, asserting that Israeli aggressive policies threaten to ignite the region and push it towards comprehensive escalation that jeopardizes regional and international peace and security.

Damascus emphasized that the ongoing aggression against the sovereignty of Syrian territories comes within the framework of the occupation authorities' efforts to expand and escalate their aggression in the region, to cover up their war crimes, genocide, crimes against humanity, and brutal massacres committed daily against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The attacks also aim to help "Israel" escape from its failure in the face of the will and determination of the Palestinian people to achieve freedom, self-determination, and the establishment of their independent Palestinian state on their national soil with al-Quds as its capital.

"The hysterical Israeli attacks will not deter [Syria] from continuing to combat terrorism supported by Israel and its sponsors, nor will they diminish its determination to reclaim its occupied territories," the Syrian Foreign Ministry said earlier referring to occupied Golan.
