More than 30 Palestinians have been killed since midnight as the Israeli occupation intensified its bombardment of the Gaza Strip amid the latest wave of attacks focused heavily on the southern regions, particularly Khan Younis and Rafah, resulting in widespread civilian casualties and destruction of residential areas.
In the past few hours, 11 Palestinians were killed and 13 injured when a house on al-Nuzha Street in Jabalia al-Balad, northern Gaza, was targeted. In a separate strike on a building opposite Sultan Tower in the same area, a child was killed and 22 others were wounded.
The Israeli occupation also targeted a house near the Othman Mosque in the Bir al-Na'ja area, west of Jabalia camp, carrying out an airstrike on another home at the entrance to Bir al-Na'ja in the al-Faluja area, west of the camp.
The occupation also carried out an airstrike targeting areas surrounding the al-Faluja cemetery west of Jabalia camp, amid continued artillery shelling and gunfire towards areas northwest of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
Moreover, since midnight, occupation forces launched a series of strikes across the Gaza Strip, with a heavy focus on Khan Younis in the south, particularly its eastern areas, which had previously been threatened with evacuation orders.
Artillery shelling struck northern Rafah and Khan Younis, while Israeli warplanes targeted the region's southern and eastern districts.
Civilian homes targeted in Khan Younis
Airstrikes and shelling struck multiple residential homes, resulting in casualties and extensive damage.
In Abasan al-Kabira, four were killed and others injured in the bombing of a home. Another strike targeted the Abu Salah family home, killing one and wounding several. Additional attacks targeted the Abu Taha family home in the Ma’an area and a third residence in al-Shahaida, east of Khan Younis, resulting in multiple martyrs and injuries.
Qizan al-Najjar, south of Khan Younis, was subjected to heavy artillery and airstrikes. In Jouret al-Lut, several people were injured when a home was struck, while another house near Hamad City, northwest of Khan Younis, was also targeted.
Widespread destruction and civilian casualties
Israeli gunboats opened fire on the al-Mawasi area in western Khan Younis, targeting agricultural lands and injuring dozens.
In the city center, occupation forces dropped a bomb on the al-Masry family home near the al-Islam Mosque in the al-Tahlia area, killing four people, wounding three others, and leaving several trapped beneath the rubble.
As the Israeli offensive intensifies across the Gaza Strip, especially through relentless airstrikes and shelling in Khan Younis and Rafah, the toll on civilians continues to grow amid mounting devastation.

In central Gaza, an Israeli airstrike hit the eastern part of Deir al-Balah. Meanwhile, the al-Tuffah and al-Shuja'iyya neighborhoods, east of Gaza City, came under sustained fire from occupation forces.
In Shuja'iyya, a concentrated bombing campaign leveled several residential buildings at the heart of the neighborhood, deepening the humanitarian crisis in eastern Gaza City.
Jabalia massacre kills over 30
In the northern Gaza Strip, the occupation forces carried out a massacre in Jabalia, where airstrikes targeted four homes, including the Nabhan family residence on al-Nuzha Street, killing 11 people and wounding 13 others.
In a separate, devastating strike, the Junaid building was bombed, resulting in the martyrdom of 22 individuals, including a child. The scale of destruction and loss of life highlights the mounting toll on civilians in Gaza’s north.
The assault extended to Beit Lahia, where two homes, belonging to the Thari and Abu Zaida families, were bombed. In a further escalation, occupation forces deployed a booby-trapped robot in the area, introducing a new and dangerous threat to residents.
Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes struck the al-Tawam area to the west, while ground forces shelled the western part of the city, creating an increasingly volatile and deadly environment for civilians.
As "Israel" intensifies its assault on Gaza’s neighborhoods, the humanitarian toll continues to rise sharply amid widespread destruction and relentless attacks on densely populated areas.
