More than 46 casualties in US-UK aggression on Yemen
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reports that the casualty toll from the US-British aggression has surpassed 46, including both martyrs and wounded.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Friday that the casualty toll from the recent American-British aggression against the coastal province of Hodeidah on the Red Sea, west of Yemen, has surpassed 46 (including killed and wounded), with countless others wounded.
In this context, Yemeni Ministry of Health spokesperson Anis al-Subhi told Al Mayadeen that the initial toll of the American-British aggression on Hodeidah has so far reached 16 martyrs and 30 wounded. He stressed that the death toll is likely to rise due to the severity of injuries among the wounded.
Earlier, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, reported that US-UK airstrikes targeted several sites in multiple Yemeni provinces on Thursday night. The airstrikes included areas around the international airport in Sanaa, the al-Salif port, and the al-Hawak district south of Hodeidah city.
The correspondent confirmed that the total number of US-British airstrikes reached 13, with three targeting the al-Nahdin area and a fourth hitting the vicinity of Sanaa International Airport. Additionally, the airstrike targeted the coastal area of Ghalifqa in the al-Durayhimi district, south of Hodeidah governorate.

In turn, the Yemeni Ministry of Health in the Sanaa government condemned the American-British aggression and its direct bombing of civilian targets in the Hodeidah Governorate.
In a statement, the ministry confirmed that the deliberate and unlawful killings carried out by American-British-Israeli aggression aircraft against civilians are war crimes. It noted that these crimes add to the record of criminal aggression against the Yemeni people and constitute a grave violation of international humanitarian law.
It also pointed out that this aggression confirms the great impact of the heroic operations carried out by the Yemeni armed forces against American, British, and Israeli targets.
In this context, the ministry affirmed that the Yemeni leadership, people, and army will remain resilient and proud. It stated that this aggression would only strengthen their resolve to confront and thwart its objectives and to continue supporting the Palestinian people and the Resistance in Gaza.
Al-Qahoum to Al-Mayadeen: Yemeni strikes will continue and expand
In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Ali al-Qahoum, a member of the Political Bureau of the Ansar Allah movement, reflected on the aggression, highlighting that the American-British aggression against Yemen has persisted for years and is not merely a consequence of the moment.
Al-Qahoum confirmed that "Yemen's maritime operations will persist until the siege is lifted and the aggression against the Gaza Strip ceases, and will not halt before achieving that goal." He emphasized, "If the Americans desire to prevent the escalation of conflict, they must cease the aggression and siege on Gaza. Otherwise, Yemeni strikes will persist and escalate."
He added, "Yemen will undoubtedly retaliate against the aggression, and neither the Americans nor the British will be able to thwart it. The response will undoubtedly be significant," stressing that the Americans and the British must "acknowledge the escalation of Yemen's capabilities and understand that our ballistic missiles will reach their targets at sea and in our occupied territories."

Earlier on Thursday, the leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, pointed out that the Israeli occupation continues its savage aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza for the 237th day before the eyes of the entire world.
Touching on the Rafah massacre, the Yemeni leader said that the whole world witnessed the heinous crime deliberately committed by the Israeli occupation against displaced civilians in the area.
He emphasized that the targeted area had previously been declared a "safe zone" by the Israeli occupation forces, yet the displaced were targeted with seven American bombs in their sleep.
