Netanyahu destroyed Israeli deterrence: Lieberman
Former Israeli Security Minister Avigdor Lieberman says a multi-front confrontation is inevitable.
Former Israeli Security Minister Avigdor Lieberman touched Friday on Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's Quds Day speech, sending messages of pessimism throughout the Israeli occupation.
"A multi-front confrontation is inevitable, and as a matter of fact, Nasrallah's statements indicate a pivot in that direction," Lieberman said.
"Benjamin Netanyahu's government is incapable of confrontation, and this Cabinet that is supposed to be running the war, its members have no knowledge, capabilities, nor experience to manage the situation," the former security chief said.
Furthermore, he highlighted how Premier Netanyahu did not respond, saying it reflected the political stance on the Megiddo operation. "He has nearly fully destroyed Israeli deterrence," Lieberman underlined.
"Today, the situation today is worse than it was before the Yum Kippur war [1973 October war], and the problem is, no one here can manage the crisis," he said.
"The enemies are reading every line and word, and they are hearing everybody," he said, stressing the need for "Israel" to prepare for a confrontation that will span multiple fronts.
Israeli media reported on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation's security establishment is on high alert, deploying additional Iron Dome batteries out of fear of impending rocket and drone attacks on the occasion of Al-Quds Day, commemorated on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Israeli Channel 12 said that Iron Dome batteries in various illegal Israeli settlements over the weekend, in light of the ongoing tensions all over occupied Palestine and the region, especially due to last week's incidents when the Israeli occupation was bombed from Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza.
The pressure on the Netanyahu government and the Israeli occupation security and military establishments increased after the escalation of Palestinian Resistance operations against the occupation in occupied Al-Quds, the West Bank, and the '48 occupied territories.
Sayyed Nasrallah said earlier in the day that "the Israelis believed it was an achievement that Hezbollah remained on the sidelines after the shelling from southern Lebanon, and this is something to be taught when it comes to strategic affairs."
"The Israeli occupation did not bomb any Hezbollah infrastructure; it only shelled banana plantations," Sayyed Nasrallah underlined. "The Israelis lied to their people, while everyone knows that it did not shell any Hezbollah sites, which is evidence of its weakness."
"When comparing the Axis of Resistance to the Israeli occupation in light of the major developments that took place on the international level, we see that our axis is in a favorable position," he added.
"The Israeli occupation declared being on a high state of alert on all fronts, and it was afraid and worried while the Axis of Resistance was at ease," the Lebanese resistance leader underlined.
