October 7 will remain unforgettable for whole world: PIJ deputy chief
PIJ Deputy Chief Mohammad Al-Hindi underlines that the world will not forget October 7 and the subsequent Israeli massacres.
The images of October 7 are what will remain stuck in the world's memory, and all the subsequent massacres underline the major perturbation within the Israeli occupation, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Secretary-General Mohammad Al-Hindi said on Friday.
"All the ongoing events are a mere round of the rounds of confrontation that will lead to one another until complete victory," Al-Hindi said, noting that "the mad war" ended on October 7 through the major shockwave it caused.
"All the options on the table before Israel are difficult," he explained, noting that the 3-4 hour truce was a red herring the Israeli occupation was using.
"The ceasefire they are talking about serves Israel," Al-Hindi underlined. "Its goal is to forcefully displace people from the north to the south as a prelude to maybe forcibly displacing them to Sinai."
Moreover, he saluted the "steadfast people in the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a massacre for the past 35 days in clear view of the entire world."
The Israeli occupation, he went on to say, is weaponizing starvation against the people of Gaza by bombing bakeries, water wells, and solar panels while also exerting paramount pressure to forcefully displace the people of Gaza under the auspices of the United States and the West in a crime unforeseen since the end of World War II.
"The sweeping destruction on Gaza's streets, which also included the Strip's hospitals, including the children's hospitals of Al-Shifaa and Al-Nasr, as well as the Indonesian Hospital, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, and Al-Quds Hospital," he explained.
Resistance's spirits high as can be
The spirit of the Resistance in Gaza is as high as can be despite the major Israeli invasion, and the Resistance fighters are highly dynamic, Al-Hindi added.
"Israel is able to get to Al-Shifa medical complex, from which not a single bullet was fired contrary to the prevalent story, but its soldiers will not be able to dismount their armored vehicle," Al-Hindi stressed, in a clear warning to the invading Israeli forces.
"If the Zionist army remains in Gaza, it will be drained without a doubt," he said.
Addressing the issue of the Israeli captives who are still in Gaza, Al-Hindi blamed the Israeli occupation for the delay in their release, saying it was dragging on the talks and obstructing the negotiations regarding the captives, "and because of that, the deal to release the detainees was brought to a grinding halt."
Axis of Resistance unity
"The Southern Lebanon front is exhausting a third of the Israeli reserves and has displaced thousands of settlers, and it is open to any options that might arise, Al-Hindi said.
The PIJ's second-in-command hailed the nations participating in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood "according to their conditions in different places, be it Yemen, Iraq, or southern Lebanon, [...] there are open fronts where issues may snowball to a great extent, and everything must be accounted for."

On the other hand, he went on to express his dismay with the Arab Summit slated for Saturday, underlining that the session taking place 35 days after the start of the aggression on Gaza does not leave much to the imagination in terms of an outcome.
"We do not expect more than a statement from the Arab summit that will be held tomorrow, and we in Palestine do not hope much from such meetings, as the outcomes have been the same over many years," he said.
"The meetings held regarding the future of Gaza imply the defeat of the Resistance, and this is delusion," Al-Hindi added. "The issue of administering the Gaza Strip concerns the Palestinian people alone and does not concern the Americans or the Arabs standing idly regarding these massacres."
"Can anyone govern a city suffering from all this pain and destruction?" he asked.
Thorn in everyone's side
At the conclusion of his press conference, Al-Hindi underlined that the Palestinian people will fight any force that occupies the Gaza Strip, stressing that there was no answer to the Palestinian question other than dismantling the settlement called "Israel", "which seeks to enslave the countries of the region."
"Israeli arrogance does not only sow destruction in Gaza's homes but also a new consciousness in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, and the region as a whole," the PIJ deputy chief said.
Several protests were organized in cities in the Arab world and internationally, condemning the ongoing war on Gaza for the 35th consecutive day. Global protests are gaining momentum in demanding an end to the genocide committed in the besieged territory.
