On the 264th day of aggression, IOF intensifies raids in Gaza Strip
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 264th day, committing additional massacres, destroying dozens of homes and residential buildings, and exacerbating warnings of worsening famine in the region.
Several Palestinians were martyred and others injured on Wednesday as renewed Israeli occupation bombings by land, sea, and air targeted various areas of the Gaza Strip for the 264th day of aggression. Dozens of homes, buildings, residential apartments, and public and private properties were destroyed.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the number of martyrs had risen to 15 following an Israeli bombing of a house in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip. This comes at a time when most hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip are out of service, according to our correspondent.
Several Palestinians were killed and others injured as a result of the Israeli occupation army firing shells at various neighborhoods in Gaza City, including al-Zaytoun, al-Sabra, and Tal al-Hawa.
The Gaza Civil Defense announced rescuing 13 citizens as a result of the targeting of an inhabited house in the al-Daraj area in Gaza City.
Occupation artillery targeted the eastern area of the al-Bureij camp and agricultural land west of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. Also, south of Gaza City, occupation drones opened fire on residents on Street 8.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent explained that the Israeli bombing affected most of the eastern areas in the Central Governorate of the Gaza Strip last night.
Intense bombing on Rafah
As for the southern Gaza Strip, our correspondent indicated that the occupation blew up an entire residential neighborhood this morning in the Saudi neighborhood, west of the city of Rafah, explaining that the occupation intensified its raids on Rafah, especially on Tal al-Sultan and the Saudi neighborhood, coinciding with violent artillery shelling in the center and west of the city.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the bodies of three martyrs were recovered east of the city of Rafah after they were killed by Israeli bombing.
The occupation army artillery also fired dozens of shells towards the northeastern areas of the city of Khan Younis.
Famine worsens
On another note, the Red Crescent in the Gaza Strip confirmed that thousands of residents are facing the risk of starvation. The organization called for the opening of the crossings and the entry of aid into all areas of Gaza, especially to the north.
In this context, Al Mayadeen's correspondent said “Most food supplies have run out in the northern Gaza Strip, which threatens a real famine.”
