Palestinian Factions: Gantz's Morocco Visit Stab for Palestinians
Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine says Israeli occupation uses normalization to legitimize its unjust occupation and the PFLP renews its confidence in the Moroccan people.
The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine said the reception of the Israeli occupation Security Minister Benny Gantz in Morocco is considered a stab in the back of the Palestinian people.
In a statement, the Movement clarified that signing agreements with the Israeli occupation, allying with it, and receiving its leaders in Morocco or any other Arab country only encourages the occupation to continue its aggression against Palestinians and al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Movement added that the Israeli occupation uses these visits to legitimize its unjust occupation of Palestine and the aggressive policies it adopts against holy sites.
It also called on the Moroccan people to reject Gantz's visit and to demand their authorities to end all forms of agreements with "Israel".
PFLP: Moroccans will not stop fighting normalization
For its part, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) condemned Gantz's visit to Morocco and the signing of security and military agreements between Morocco and the Israeli occupation.
The PFLP considered that such agreements pose a direct threat to Moroccans and the entire region, especially to Algeria.
The Front called to strip the Moroccan regime of any cover it uses to claim its support for Arab causes and the Palestinian cause. It also demanded discharging the King of Morocco from his responsibilities as chairperson of the al-Quds Committee, due to his complicity and treachery.
It also reiterated its confidence that the Moroccan people will not stop their rejection of normalization and are able to end this downfall by the regime, as well as to thwart all conspiracies against Algeria, which stands against normalization in the Maghreb countries and in the region.
Gantz's visit
Israeli occupation Security Minister Benny Gantz and Morocco's Minister in charge of defense administration, Abdellatif Loudiyi, signed Wednesday a memorandum of understanding on security cooperation between the two sides.
During his visit to Rabat, Gantz said the signing paves the way for military sales and cooperation between the two after they upgraded their diplomatic relations last year.
