Palestinian Resistance destroy Israeli vehicles, snipe soldiers
Palestinian Resistance factions in Gaza continue carrying out operations against invading Israeli soldiers, dealing extensive damage to the IOF.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that it targeted an Israeli military vehicle with a Shawaz explosive device on Qasasib Street in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza on Friday, where the population faces systematic attacks aimed at displacement and destruction of essential infrastructure.
The al-Qassam Brigades also reported targeting two Israeli personnel carriers with Yassin-105 and Tandem rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), and an Israeli D9 bulldozer with an explosive device near the Martyr Imad Aqel Mosque in eastern Jabalia. Additionally, al-Qassam snipers took down an Israeli soldier with a Ghoul rifle in the al-Razan area, north of Jabalia.
The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), confirmed that its fighters also sniped an Israeli soldier near the Civil Administration building east of Jabalia. In the same area, they targeted an Israeli D9 bulldozer with an RPG on Sikka Street and shelled Israeli forces and vehicles with mortar rounds in Qasasib.
The al-Quds Brigades also detonated a Thaqib explosive device against an Israeli military vehicle near the Indonesian Hospital in northeastern Jabalia. In a separate operation, they targeted another Israeli vehicle with pre-planted Thaqib explosives on Beit Lahia Street in northern Gaza, engaging in intense clashes with Israeli soldiers using a variety of firearms. Al-Quds fighters also launched 107mm rockets at an Israeli command and control center near the Netzarim junction.
Meanwhile, the Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Mujahideen Movement, reported engaging in fierce clashes with Israeli forces east of Jabalia.
In the midst of ongoing Resistance operations, the Israeli occupation forces confirmed earlier on Friday the death of an officer and two soldiers in fighting in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. The IOF stated that among the casualties was a captain and platoon leader in the 196th Battalion’s tank commanders' course, along with two trainee sergeants in the same unit.
NYT: Israeli military being entangled in 'unwinnable' war
As the Resistance maintains its operations in northern Gaza, which is under heavy Israeli bombardment as part of a systematic plan to displace residents and destroy essential infrastructure, The New York Times acknowledged that Hamas' tactics make defeating them challenging. The newspaper noted that the al-Qassam Brigades still possess the capabilities to entangle the Israeli military in an "unwinnable" war.
Israeli military analysts and soldiers have observed that Palestinian fighters appear briefly in small units to plant explosives in buildings, place roadside bombs, attach mines to Israeli armored vehicles, or launch rocket-propelled grenades at Israeli forces before retreating underground.
In the Jabalia refugee camp, one day after eliminating the commander of the 401st Armored Brigade, Colonel Ehsan Daqsa, and seriously wounding the commander of the Brigade's 52nd Battalion, Hamas executed yet another major ambush in the camp.
