Palestinian Resistance fight Israeli forces, inflicts major casualties
The Palestinian Resistance in Gaza confronts the invading Israeli forces and inflicts major casualties on them amid extensive shelling of the occupied Palestinian territories.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, said there were casualties among Israeli soldiers who had sheltered themselves in a civilian building after they attacked their positions with TBG rockets.
The al-Qassam said its fighters were engaging in numerous confrontations west of the Jabalia refugee camp.
The al-Aqsa Brigades said their fighters attacked an Israeli armored vehicle in the western Jabalia direction, which killed and wounded all the soldiers aboard.
The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, said their fighters engaged in fierce urban combat with the invading enemy forces, with two Israeli tanks being partially or completely destroyed west of Jabalia after they were attacked with the tandem RPGs.

This comes amid fierce confrontations in the Shuja'iya neighborhood in Gaza, which saw the Resistance fighters destroying an Israeli IFV and killing all those on board using a highly explosive barrel bomb.
The area of Juhr al-Dik in central Gaza, as well as the "Netzarim" advance axis, saw the Israeli assembly points coming under heavy fire from the al-Quds Brigades, resulting in paramount casualties.
As the Resistance only attacks flagrantly military targets, the Israeli occupation began using civilians from Gaza as human shields to storm the al-Maghazi camp after it failed to make any advances there several times.
The al-Qassam Brigades in Khan Yunis also attacked Israeli assembly points east of the city, as well as an invading Israeli force in the north, using mortar shells.
Hamas' military wing also reported that it launched several barrages of rockets toward "Tel Aviv" on Monday in response to the Israeli massacres and ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Casualties on the rise
Israeli media reported Monday several Israeli soldiers were killed during confrontations with the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.
Among those killed were two reservist officers from Battalion 2855 and 8111. Additionally, a reservist major, of Battalion 8111, was killed during battles in southern Gaza.
Another major was also reportedly killed in what the IOF called a "military accident."
The Israeli Occupation Forces also acknowledged the injury of a reservist fighter of Battalion 8111, reportedly sustaining serious injuries during a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

Concurrently, Israeli media reported that despite the army announcing the injury of 1593 soldiers since the beginning of the war, hospital data is much higher.
Last week, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced that the death toll of their forces has risen to 84 since their invasion of Gaza began, bringing the total death toll since October 7 to 408 Israeli soldiers.
Although the IOF does not disclose its total losses in Gaza, Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported days ago that it received a letter with the total number of those killed in Israeli occupation forces in confrontations with the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza.
Haaretz reported that the IOF acknowledged the death of nearly 1,000 soldiers since the war on Gaza began, after it refused to provide any data regarding the total numbers of those killed and wounded, while also asking hospitals to remain confidential.
