The Palestinian Resistance continues to target occupation forces in Gaza, carrying out deadly ambushes in various parts of Gaza, inflicting serious casualties among Israeli troops.
The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, announced on Friday a joint bombardment operation with the al-Qassam Brigades targeting an Israeli military command and control center near the Canada hall, southeast of Khan Younis, using heavy-caliber mortar shells.
The Palestinian Resistance group also released video footage documenting Israeli military vehicles operating northwest of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, where fighters executed a highly-precise ambush with a high-powered, armor-piercing explosive device.

Additionally, the al-Quds Brigades announced successfully detonating a highly explosive barrel bomb targeting an Israeli vehicle in Gemmayze Street, in Kaf al-Qarara in northern Khan Younis.
Palestinian Resistance ambushes kill scores of IOF troops
Simultaneously, Israeli media sources reported that five soldiers were killed and twelve others sustained serious injuries in Khan Younis when a rigged building where forces from the elite Maglan special operations unit were stationed was detonated.
The ambush was described as "one of the most brutal attacks" suffered by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Gaza.
According to Israeli media, the Israeli troops followed the required protocol to ensure the building was not booby-trapped but failed to find the planted explosives.
This, according to Israeli media, has the IOF stuck in a cycle of repetition, "returning to the same locations, repeating the same tactics, and failing to produce measurable results."
Military authorities enforce media blackout
Military authorities imposed a media blackout on the incident's details while confirming the casualties were associated with elite special forces units.
Israeli media outlets noted they were permitted to report that four soldiers were killed and five were wounded when an explosive device detonated, collapsing a building during a commando operation in Khan Younis. The recovery operation lasted approximately six hours.
Israeli news outlets described this week as one of the "most difficult" since December/January of last year, with over eight Israeli soldiers killed in three days.
Earlier, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Resistance fighters detonated a house housing Israeli occupation soldiers, wounding at least 10 troops, with one soldier still unaccounted for, according to Israeli media reports.
Our correspondent additionally reported that five Israeli helicopters participated in evacuation operations from the ambush site, with intense aerial activity and repeated sonic booms heard across southern Gaza's airspace.
Elite soldier killed in southern Gaza
Following this ambush, Israeli media reported a second major incident occurring today in the Gaza Strip, with Channel 12 announcing the death of a soldier from the Yahalom combat engineering unit during fighting in southern Gaza.
The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation quoted the commander of the 77th Battalion in Khan Younis as saying that the Palestinian Resistance fighters "are rigging roads with explosives and relying heavily on ambush tactics," adding that "nearly every building is booby-trapped."
