Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering support for the Palestinian Resistance in its struggle against the Israeli occupation entity.

In a message delivered during the 9th International Conference of "Mujahideen in Exile," held in Damghan, in Iran’s northern province of Semnan on Tuesday, Pezeshkian addressed attendees, including representatives from various Muslim countries and national and provincial officials.

"Over the course of nearly half a century, the legacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has consistently championed justice and advocated human rights globally, has been to fully support the oppressed Palestinian nation's resistance against the Zionist usurper regime, as well as the struggle of all the oppressed nations in the world," he indicated.

The Iranian president emphasized that from the outset of his presidency, he has committed to supporting the Palestinian people and all oppressed communities around the world.

Pezeshkian assured that the 14th Iranian government will continue its unwavering backing of the Palestinian Resistance, in line with the legacy of previous administrations.

"I believe that we should always consider ourselves committed to seeking justice and support freedom-seekers and also the oppressed in any circumstance because justice-seeking on the part of the elite and awakened consciences can lay a good ground for realizing a bright future," he explained.

He also paid tribute to the late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, describing him as "a distinguished diplomat and a true embodiment of resistance diplomacy," as well as "a strong and intelligent negotiator."

Amir-Abdollahian tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash on May 19, along with the late President Ebrahim Raisi and several other officials.

It is noteworthy that in a message to the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, before his assassination by "Israel" in the Iranian capital Tehran, Pezeshkian reiterated his country's full-fledged support for the Palestinian Resistance.

The Iranian president back then expressed his nation's "human and Islamic duty to support the Palestinian nation" in its struggle against the Israeli occupation, anchored by the principles and goals of the Islamic Revolution and the notions of its leader, Imam Khomeini.

"[Iran] will continue to support the oppressed Palestinian nation until the realization of all its ideals and rights and the liberation of the holy al-Quds," Pezeshkian affirmed, emphasizing that in light of the bravery and devotion of the people of Palestine and their Resistance, "victory would be in the hands of dear Palestine."
