The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) on Tuesday called for battles to shift to the heart of "Israel" from the West Bank.

The PFLP confirmed the increase in settler attacks on the Palestinian people across the West Bank. These assaults, which include road blockades, land seizures, attacks on homes, and shootings on Palestinians, are occurring concurrently with the genocidal assault on the Gaza Strip. The PFLP asserted that these actions are being orchestrated by the occupation officials and the occupation army.

The Front further emphasized that amid the chaos unfolding in Gaza,  occupation forces are intensifying their atrocities and collaborating with settlers to quell any potential uprising in the West Bank. This includes bolstering settlements, which are integral to the Israeli agenda in Palestine, which serve as a lifeline and cornerstone for its policies and crimes against the Palestinian population.

Pressing objective to ignite West Bank

The PFLP also stressed the urgent need for unified efforts among the various segments of the Palestinian people in the West Bank – including the grassroots, national, and official entities – to confront the occupation and counter settler atrocities. They underscored the importance of swiftly establishing popular protection committees to safeguard villages and cities against settler assaults.

In conclusion, the movement emphasized that shifting the focus of the war to the heart of "Israel", beginning with operations in the West Bank, serves to broaden the scope of the struggle. This strategic move aims to drain the entity's military, economic, and humanitarian resources, exacerbating its existential crisis and intensifying the deep-seated crises instigated by Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

It clarified that the imperative and pressing objective is to ignite the front in the West Bank to bolster the resistance in Gaza, which persists in inflicting significant human and military casualties upon the occupation forces.

Israeli media are expressing grave concern about an imminent escalation in the West Bank, warning of a potential outbreak of violence far surpassing anything witnessed since the start of the war in Gaza.

This alarming development follows warnings from Israeli military officials that tensions in the West Bank are reaching a critical point, with confrontations intensifying between Palestinian Resistance fighters and occupation forces.
