Prisoner Awawdeh's wife reveals her husband condition to Al Mayadeen
Palestinian Prisoner Khalil Awawdeh's wife told Al Mayadeen that doctors said her husband's organs would never function normally, even if he suspends his hunger strike.
Dalal Awawdeh said her imprisoned husband, Khalil Awawdeh, will continue his strike until he achieves his freedom.
She quoted her husband to Al Mayadeen, after visiting him, as saying: "My strike is not against life but against chains and the order to take away my freedom."
She quoted him further as saying that "the security forces are eating food in front of me and I grieve for them, as they think that this may affect me," noting that her husband looked like a skeleton in front of her.

Yesterday, lawyer Ahlam Haddad, prisoner Khalil Awawdeh's attorney, who has been on a hunger strike for more than 160 days, confirmed in an interview with Al Mayadeen that she was "shocked" when she saw Awawdeh because of his weak state, explaining that he "suffers from severe weight loss, and has become unable to speak." He doesn't remember his family."

Last Wednesday, the occupation court held a surprise session for the administrative detainee, Khalil Awawdeh, due to his critical health condition. According to his wife and the Palestinian Prisoners Club, the prisoner is still present in Ramle prison and has not been transferred to a civilian hospital.
The cease-fire agreement between "Israel" and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement provided for the release of the prisoner, Awawdeh, under Egyptian mediation.
