'Israel' launches aggression on Gaza, Resistance responds
Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes on the north of the Gaza Strip and the southeast of Gaza City, stressing that explosions are currently heard in Gaza.
The Israeli aggression further pushes the region closer toward a wider confrontation following three days of provocative raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Al-Quds, assaulting Palestinians who are stationed there as part of the religious practice of Itikaf, which is one of the acts of worship during the holy month of Ramadan.
In further detail, the occupation warplanes launched a series of raids on various sites in the Gaza Strip, targeting a site for the Palestinian Resistance in the south of Gaza City and an observatory in the east of the city.
The occupation planes also bombed the sites "Salah Al-Din" and others, as well as agricultural land in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza, while they bombed a Resistance site in the city of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.
Field sources in Gaza affirmed to Al Mayadeen that all the sites that were targeted by the Israeli aggression are empty or have been evacuated.

Haniyeh: Unified Resistance for victory
Earlier today, the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, and the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad Al-Nakhalah called on all Palestinian Resistance factions to unify their ranks and intensify their Resistance acts against the Israeli occupation.
During his meeting with the general secretaries of the Palestinian Resistance factions in Beirut, Haniyeh pointed out that "the priority today is to resist the occupation," stressing that "national unity and resistance are the way to achieve victory and defeat the Zionist project."
Haniyeh discussed with the general secretaries the developments of the situation in occupied Palestine, especially the ongoing Israeli aggression against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by occupation forces and illegal Israeli settlers.
He also stressed the continuation of the path of Resistance and defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque by all available means, underscoring, "We will not allow the occupation government to implement its plans to Judaize Al-Quds and divide Al-Aqsa Mosque."
Enemy's threats do not frighten us: Al-Nakhalah
On his part, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad Al-Nakhalah, stressed that "the enemy's threats do not frighten us; they only make us stronger and more cohesive."
"Let the resistance be united in the face of any aggression, and our fighters in all places must be ready to respond," Al-Nakhalah pointed out.
The Palestinian officials' statements came amid prevailing tension at the border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine after the Israeli occupation military said that 34 rockets were launched on Thursday from southern Lebanon on occupied Al-Jalil.
