Pro-Palestinian protests near Israeli embassy in Amman for the 7th day
The people of Jordan are urging their country to cut all diplomatic ties with Israeli occupation and to shut down the Israeli occupation's embassy in Amman.
Thousands of demonstrators have gathered in the vicinity of the Israeli occupation's embassy in Amman, Jordan, for the seventh day in a row, demanding an end to the Israeli war against Gaza and urging Jordan to cut all ties with the Israeli occupation.
The number of people partaking in these protests is increasing as daily evening sit-ins include various groups from students to professionals, doctors, lawyers, human rights activists, and others.
The sit-in today witnessed an increase in the number of participants as it coincides with Land Day, which Jordanians commemorate every year.
The protests urged their country to halt all kinds of ties with "Israel" from the Wadi Araba agreement to the water-for-electricity agreement, as well as the gas agreement, among others.
They further condemned the export of vegetables to "Israel" and the participation in the land bridge that would leave a window open for the Israeli occupation to transport goods amid the Yemeni seige in the Red Sea.
In this context, the demonstrators praised the resistance in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq for all their efforts in supporting the Palestinian resistance during the Israeli war on Gaza.
They insisted that they would continue to take to the streets every day until all diplomatic ties with the Israeli occupation were severed and the Israeli embassy in Jordan was shut down, even if the war came to an end.
Hamas republish Mohammad Deif's statement calling for mobilization
The military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, the al-Qassam Brigades, republished a brief statement made by Chief of Staff Mohamamd Deif on March 27.
The audio recording saw Deif calling on the people of the Islamic and Arab worlds to start marching toward Palestine "today, not tomorrow", urging them to participate in the liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque.
"Do not permit any borders, regimes, or restrictions to prohibit you from the honor of participating in the liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque," Deif underlined.
The audio recording is part of the message Deif made addressing the Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic peoples on October 7, the day the Palestinian Resistance started Operation al-Aqsa Flood against the Israeli occupation when he announced the start of the operation that he declared was in retaliation against the Israeli occupation's violations in the holy Islamic site.
