The Ministry added that Russia's Yug (South) group of forces has eliminated up to 765 Ukrainian servicepeople over the past 24 hours, adding that "the AFU [armed forces of Ukraine] losses amounted to up to 765 Ukrainian troops, four pickup trucks, one Grad MLRS launcher [among other military losses in battles with the southern group]."

It is worth noting that the Russian military reported that its troops have captured another village in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, adding that its troops had seized the village of Mezhove, situated between Avdiivka, taken in February, and the logistics center of Pokrovsk, toward which Russian forces are advancing. The Ministry emphasized that the capture of the village, the latest in a series of territorial gains for Moscow’s forces, was achieved through "successful operations".
Meanwhile, Ukrainian authorities are warning that Russian forces are advancing rapidly. Communities in and around Pokrovsk, eastern Ukraine, are being urged to flee within the next two weeks as Russian forces push forward.
“Don’t wait. It will not get better, it will only get worse. Leave," warned Yurii Tretiak, the head of the military administration in the town of Myrnohrad, which is now less than 3 miles (4.8km) from the frontline.
