Raisi: Any hostile move against Iran will face a decisive response
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi affirms that the Great Prophet 17 maneuvers are clear evidence of Iran's ability to defend its interests and its people.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stressed, on Saturday, that all hostile moves against Iran will be met with a comprehensive, decisive response from the Iranian armed forces, which will change the strategic equations remarkably.
Raisi commented on the Great Prophet 17 maneuvers conducted by the Islamic Revolution's Guard Corps (IRGC), demonstrating Iran's ability and determination to defend its national security.
He thanked the IRGC for their unremitting efforts to preserve the security of Iran and the region, considering the Great Prophet 17 maneuvers a clear manifestation of the will of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its ability to protect the interests of its people.
On Friday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry responded to Britain's statements regarding the launch of ballistic missiles in the maneuvers, whereby the latter described them as a "threat to security, regionally and internationally."
In its response, the Ministry emphasized that Iran "does not seek anyone's permission for its defense program," and that it operates within the framework of international laws, describing the British statements as "interference in Iran's internal affairs."
It is noteworthy that the IRGC launched the first operation of accurate and medium-range Cruise missiles from a warship during the Great Prophet 17 maneuvers and carried out aerial operations of multiple purposes using drones.
Footage showed that the missiles, with a range of about 180 kilometers, accurately hit their targets.
