Resistance confronts IOF troops storming Nablus

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - the military wing of the Fatah movement announced that its fighters confronted an incursion of Israeli occupation forces into the eastern area of Nablus and the Balata refugee camp, engaging in fierce confrontations.

Resistance fighters detonated several highly explosive Zoufi IEDs against the invading vehicles and troops and used automatic weapons against them.

In further detail, dozens of military vehicles and a bulldozer entered eastern Nablus from the Huwwara, Awarta, and Beit Furik military checkpoints to secure the settlers' raid to Qaber Youssef (Joseph's Tomb) in Nablus.

In southern Tubas, Israeli forces withdrew from the Faraa refugee camp after several military patrols, accompanied by two bulldozers—one of which was an armored (D9)—stormed the camp last night. They entered from the Al-Hamra military checkpoint and remained on the main road leading to the camp for a period, causing damage before proceeding to storm the camp.

Last night, an Israeli aircraft conducted a troop drop around the refugee camp from both the northern and southern sides.

Sources from the Red Crescent reported that the IOF fired live ammunition at the Red Crescent's medical station within the camp, ordering the staff and volunteers to close it and withdraw.

Israeli invading forces also deployed snipers throughout the camp while invading troops moved in the area, amid confrontations that involved gunfire and explosions.

An Israeli special forces unit assassinated several fighters in the eastern market area of Nablus on Wednesday.

Hamas condemned the assassination, describing it as "a heinous Zionist crime added to the record of the terrorist occupation."

The group affirmed that "the Resistance in Nablus and all governorates of the West Bank will remain unbroken despite the brutality of the occupation," stating that the policy of assassinations will not deter the Palestinian people from choosing confrontation and Resistance, nor will it weaken their determination.

Hamas stated that the Palestinian people and their proud Resistance would serve as a strong barrier against the excesses of the occupation and its settlers in the West Bank. They emphasized that assassinations and attacks would only enhance their resolve and determination to persist in the Resistance until they expel the Israeli occupation from their land.

In its statement, the group called on the people of the occupied West Bank to hold mass demonstrations in all governorates to express their anger, rally around the Resistance, and escalate confrontations and confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and its settlers, in defense of their land, sanctities, and national cause.

On its part, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades mourned the "martyrs of the assassination operation in Nablus," stating that "the assassination of leaders will only increase our fighters' determination and resilience, and another leader will follow to continue on the same path."

They pledged to seek justice for the bloodshed and to persist in their struggle until they expel the occupiers from their land. They asserted that their enemy responds only to force and violence, emphasizing a commitment to continued Resistance through confrontational means.

The Fatah Movement also confirmed that "the Resistance will continue to confront the aggression of the occupation and will move forward despite the sacrifices involved."

The group observed that the rise in assassination attempts against Palestinian fighters indicated IOF's inability to confront the Resistance effectively. They stressed that these assassinations would not stop the growing momentum of the Resistance nor intimidate the "courageous fighters". Instead, such actions will fuel the ongoing Palestinian revolution through acts of heroism and retribution for the martyrs.

In the same context, the Palestinian Freedom Movement asserted that "such assassinations will not deter or weaken our people or their Resistance."

The movement affirmed that the Palestinian people and their Resistance have the inherent right to defend themselves and determine their own fate. They emphasized that their people will remain steadfast despite the complacency of others, acting as a strong barrier and shield against the occupation and its oppressive governments.
