The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, carried out a series of coordinated operations today targeting Israeli occupation military vehicles and soldier gatherings in multiple locations across southern and northern Gaza.
According to field sources, the attacks resulted in several killed and wounded among Israeli forces, amid reports of a "serious security incident" affecting the occupation's forces in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

Al-Qassam targets Israeli engineering diggers, tank, bulldozer
The al-Qassam Brigades announced the targeting of four Israeli engineering excavators with al-Yassin 105 anti-armor rounds, causing them to catch fire directly in the town of Aabasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
The group confirmed that its Resistance fighters observed casualties among Israeli occupation soldiers at the site of the attack. Israeli helicopters reportedly landed in the area to evacuate the wounded.
Al-Qassam also reported that on the previous day, its fighters targeted a Merkava tank and a D9 military bulldozer with two highly explosive roadside bombs in the same town.

IED explosion on Street 5 in Khan Younis
In a related development, the al-Quds Brigades announced that it detonated a powerful explosive device targeting an Israeli military vehicle advancing on Street 5 in northern Khan Younis.
The group indicated that the operation was part of its ongoing effort to exhaust the occupation forces that have infiltrated the Gaza Strip.
Artillery strikes on Tallat al-Montar east of Gaza City
In the eastern part of Gaza City, in the north of the Strip, al-Quds Brigades reported that its fighters took control of an Israeli reconnaissance drone while it was conducting intelligence missions over the al-Shuja’iya neighborhood.
The group also released footage showing the moment its fighters shelled gatherings of Israeli soldiers and vehicles with mortar rounds around Tallat al-Montar, east of al-Shuja’iya.
It confirmed that the strikes scored direct hits as part of a sustained artillery engagement targeting Israeli military positions.

Serious security incident in Khan Younis
Local Palestinian sources reported preliminary information about a serious security incident affecting the Israeli occupation forces in Khan Younis. The area is currently witnessing heavy Israeli warplane activity.
