Sources in the Palestinian Resistance announced today that the IOF special forces have so far failed to carry out their incursion into the Jenin camp, noting that so far, they are only operating on the outskirts.

The IOF had launched a large-scale aggression dubbed "Operation Home and Garden" targeting the occupied city of Jenin and its refugee camp in the northern West Bank.

"The Israeli army is trying to separate Jenin camp from its surroundings by bulldozing roads and erecting berms," sources in the Palestinian Resistance told Al Mayadeen.

"Part of the Israeli military operation targets the infrastructure of Jenin and its camp, and there is a clear Israeli desire to take revenge against the camp."

"Solidarity is prevalent among all Resistance forces to confront the enemy with the capabilities they possess, and this aggression will fail and will not achieve security for Israel," the sources added.

Furthermore, a field source told Al Mayadeen that employing tanks in Jenin would shift the battle toward a different scenario to involve not only Jenin but also other battlefields.

He also noted that the fighters in Jenin are operating according to a well-studied plan, and the surprise attack has failed to disrupt their discipline.

"It was decided to start a large-scale military operation in Jenin," aimed at "thwarting the armed infrastructure and arresting its members in Jenin," the IOF Army Radio announced earlier today at dawn.

"More than 15 bulldozers leveled the streets in Jenin, causing severe damage to the infrastructure," Israeli media reported.

Kan assessed the recent Israeli aggression as the largest attack since the second Intifada.

Fearing attacks in response to the aggression, the Israeli media stated that "the army is preparing to protect roads and settlements in the West Bank, in parallel with the security and military establishment's readiness for riots that may occur in the region."

Israeli media also reported that "the Israeli air defense is preparing for a missile strike," pointing to "the reinforcement of the air defense in the south with the start of the operation in Jenin."

The IOF is preemptively preparing for a counterattack by the Resistance by setting roadblocks in the West Bank settlements in addition to preparing security forces in anticipation of potential riots.

"It is doubtful that the operation in Jenin will provide a real response to the scourge that is developing in the northern sectors of the West Bank, and perhaps this is only a temporary response," Avi Issacharoff, the Arab affairs analyst for Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, said.

"Israel will find itself, after several weeks, in an additional large-scale military operation in the city," he added.

The aggression was reportedly approved 10 days ago on the political level. The aggression, dubbed "Operation Home and Garden," involves 1000 IOF soldiers and is estimated to last for 72 hours, as per Israeli media.
