The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that units of the Sever (North) Group of Forces had made substantial progress, securing the villages of Borysivka, Ohirtseve, Pletenivka, Pylna, and Strilecha in the Kharkiv region.
They also conducted targeted strikes on Ukrainian forces near several other villages, including Vovchansk, Vesele, Hlyboke, Neskuchne, and Krasne.

The ministry reported significant losses inflicted upon Ukrainian forces, including the destruction of various military assets.
Among the destroyed equipment were a Czech-made RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system, a French-made Caesar self-propelled howitzer, a Bohdana wheeled self-propelled howitzer, as well as several D-20 and D-30 howitzers, and a Buk missile system.

In another theater of the conflict, Ukraine faced heavy casualties in the area of responsibility of Russia's Zapad (Western) Group of Forces.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukrainian troops lost up to 300 servicemen, along with a tank, an armored fighting vehicle, and several other military vehicles and artillery pieces.

Meanwhile, Russian servicemen of the Yug (South) Group of Forces repelled four counterattacks and defeated five Ukrainian brigades in fierce fighting. The enemy losses in this sector were reported to be as high as 550 soldiers. The Southern battlegroup also managed to destroy four Ukrainian tanks, including three Leopard tanks, and an M113 armored personnel carrier.
