In the eastern Donetsk area, the village of Leninske was declared under Russian control on Tuesday.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian military's Center group of forces took control of the village, adding that other Russian military forces have reportedly "improved their positions" along the frontlines.

"Since the beginning of the special military operation, 631 aircraft, 278 helicopters, 28,692 drones, 556 anti-aircraft missile systems, 16,725 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,393 multiple rocket launchers, 12,567 field artillery and mortars, and 24,201 special military vehicles have been destroyed," the Ministry stated.

Ivan Prikhodko, the mayor of Horlivka, revealed in a separate statement that a woman had lost her life in a drone attack on the city center by the Ukrainian military.

"As a result of Ukrainian armed aggression, a tram driver was killed in the center of Horlivka. Eternal memory to the innocent victim. Condolences to the family and friends," he noted.

In 24 hours, Ukraine lost up to 650 soldiers in the Yug (South) group of Russian forces' area of operation, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday.

In its statement, the Ministry said, "The enemy's losses amounted to up to losses amounted to up to 650 Ukrainian troops, three armoured fighting vehicles, two motor vehicles, three US-made 155-mm M777 howitzers, two US-made 155-mm M198 howitzers, two 152-mm D-20 howitzers, and two US-made 105-mm M119 howitzers."

According to the Ministry, Ukraine has lost up to 500 soldiers in combat with Russian troops from the Zapad (West) group. It also added that six counterattacks by Russia's Tsentr (Central) group have resulted in the loss of up to 315 military personnel for Kiev.

According to the Ministry, Kiev has suffered up to 250 casualties as Russia's Sever (North) group of forces has thwarted seven counterattacks in the last 24 hours.

Two days ago, the Tsentr (Center) grouping of Russian forces took control of the settlement of Lozuvatske in the Donetsk People's Republic, the Russian Defense Ministry announced.

"The units of the Tsentr Group of Forces, through active actions, liberated the settlement of Lozuvatskoe in the Donetsk People's Republic," the Ministry stated in its daily bulletin.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Ukraine lost up to 570 soldiers in battles with the Zapad (West) group of forces.

The Yug (South) group of forces achieved more advantageous positions and frontiers, resulting in the loss of up to 540 Ukrainian servicepeople.

Moreover, the Sever (North) group of forces repelled two counterattacks, causing up to 165 Ukrainian casualties.
