Just earlier this week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky raised serious concerns over the severity of the situation unfolding in the kharkov region, labeling it as one of the most intense areas amidst Russia's ongoing advance in that direction.
This follows last week's announcement by the Russian Defense Ministry, stating that Russia's northern grouping of forces had successfully seized control over a string of villages in the kharkov region. These included Hatyshche, Krasne, Morokhovets, Oliinykove, Borysivka, Ohirtseve, Pletenivka, Pilna, and Strilecha, marking strategic gains for Russian forces in the region.
As these events are unfolding, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently announced a new $2 billion military aid package for Ukraine. He was recently seen playing guitar at a bar in Kiev.
