Sanaa: US does not want to end aggression on Yemen, hinders peace
The National Salvation government in Sanaa expresses its amazement at the US statement that it seeks peace in Yemen, while it "stands behind the suffering of the Yemeni people."
The Sanaa government, on Thursday, accused the US of obstructing peace in Yemen, and held it responsible for the war and the siege against it for more than 7 years.
The Ansar Allah Movement expressed its "astonishment at the US claim that it is keen on achieving peace in Yemen, while it stands behind the suffering of the Yemeni people."
Furthermore, the movement said "the claim of the United States comes in the context of its attempt to cover up its obstruction to the peace efforts," noting that Yemenis "are besieged, starving, and killed daily with American weapons and an [American] green light."
The movement stressed that "America does not want to end the aggression on Yemen. This is evident through its statements and its criticisms of those who are defending themselves, as well as its permanent bias towards war, through the continued aggression, siege, and occupation of Yemeni soil."
The ceasefire didn't stop the #Saudi-led coalition of aggression from looting Yemen's oil.

The movement considered that "the US is trying to impede any sincere efforts to achieve sustainable peace" in Yemen.
Sanaa's position came in response to a statement made by the US State Department that read "We remind the Houthis that the world is watching their actions and urge them to cooperate with the UN and listen to Yemeni appeals for peace."
Furthermore, the US statement added, "The only path forward to ending eight years of destructive war is through a durable ceasefire and political settlement that allows Yemenis to determine the future of their country."
