Yemen military sources reported that at least 12 members of the Saudi coalition forces were killed and dozens wounded -- some of them severely. What is striking is that the Saudi coalition forces struck a gathering for UAE-backed forces.
The sources added that the airstrike targeted the coalition's gathering in the Al-Mahrah district in the Shabwah governorate, southeast Yemen.
This comes hours after confrontations, which have been renewed, between the coalition forces, the army, and the Yemeni popular committees on the Baihan fronts in Shabwah governorate, one day after the Saudi coalition arrived in the governorate.
It is noteworthy that the Yemeni armed forces on Thursday took control of 5 military camps from the grip of Al-Hadi forces and the Saudi coalition at the Al-Yatama border, Al-Jawf governorate.
