Sayyed Khamenei calls for prioritizing economy, national unity
Sayyed Ali Khamenei urged President Masoud Pezeshkian and his cabinet to prioritize resolving Iran’s economic challenges, preserve national unity, and confront the Israeli entity’s crimes in Gaza.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Sayyed Ali Khamenei met with President Masoud Pezeshkian and his cabinet members on Sunday, urging the new administration to prioritize solutions to the economic challenges facing the Iranian people.
During the meeting, Sayyed Khamenei described the issue of livelihood as one of the country’s most pressing concerns, stressing that officials must address rising prices of essential goods and ensure stable supplies of foodstuffs and other necessities.
Call for economic focus and unity
The Leader called for “more serious measures” to curb uncontrolled price hikes, noting that national unity and high morale are essential components of Iran’s strength.
“The high morale, motivation, and unity of the nation are the most important components of national power,” he said, urging both the people and officials to safeguard unity.
He said ensuring sufficient reserves would stabilize markets, prevent sudden price hikes, and protect national food security.
Sayyed Ali Khamenei emphasized that strengthening the components of national power and dignity remains the government’s foremost duty.
Position on Gaza and the Zionist entity
Turning to regional developments, the Leader condemned the actions of the “vile, hated Zionist entity” in Gaza, calling them catastrophic.
He urged Iran’s Foreign Ministry to advise other nations to cut ties with the entity and called on Islamic states to sever all political and commercial relations.
President’s China visit seen as groundwork for progress
On another note, in a post published on Iran’s leader X account, Sayyed Khamenei said the president’s recent trip to China opened the door to significant political and economic developments, stressing that initial achievements from the visit must be actively pursued.
