Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, "the father, guardian, thinker, and leader," and his directives were the main factor that developed the resistance and shaped the Axis of Resistance, Sheikh Ali al-Asadi, the head of the Political Council of the Al-Nujaba Movement, eulogized.
Sheikh al-Asadi emphasized that Sayyed Nasrallah continuously monitored the resistance's operations room while allowing each front the flexibility to act according to its field conditions. He stressed that the Islamic Resistance in Iraq was guided by Sayyed Nasrallah's opinions and that he meticulously followed up on even the smallest details in direct communication with the leadership.
Sayyed Nasrallah, according to the al-Nujaba chief, established a jihad ideological school to alleviate the suffering of the Ummah and ensured alternatives in case of his absence, guaranteeing the continuity of the resistance's path.
Regarding the funeral procession for Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah in Iraq, Sheikh al-Asadi affirmed that the central procession set to take place on Sunday would serve as a public referendum in support of the resistance project. He stressed that the memorial would send a decisive message from the Resistance Axis to the entire world, demonstrating the legitimacy and continuity of the resistance through the scale of participation and engagement.

Moreover, the top Resistance leader reiterated that the Iraqi Resistance continues to defy those who are attempting to change the face of the region and extract Iraq from its cultural and geographic depth amid the intense pressure imposed on Iraq. However, "they [Iraqis] are not fearful," he asserted, stressing that the Resistance will remain resilient in countering the threats.
He further added that hostile media propagandizes a "phobia" to intimidate regimes and governments into complying with the demands of states pursuing their own agendas in the region. However, he emphasized, "There are pressures, but we are not afraid. What Biden has done, Trump cannot surpass, and the resistance holds many hidden cards."
Concluding his remarks, Sheikh al-Asadi eulogized martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in a message saying, "Rest in peace, for you have built and nurtured men who do not sleep on oppression."
The Israeli occupation, on September 27, 2024, launched a massive attack on Beirut's southern suburb, leveling at least six buildings to rubble. Hezbollah's Military Media then announced that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was martyred during the attack.
Lebanon and its Islamic Resistance have declared February 23, 2025, the day during which Sayyed Hassan and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, who was martyred on October 3, will be laid to rest.
