I find it incomprehensible that the UK did not vote for a ceasefire. How can you choose to be complicit in the killing of thousands of children?
Shame on the UK Government & Keir Starmer's Labour Party who refuse to back a #CeasefireNow https://t.co/TXLSZiwIKI
This comes after the Labour Party has issued its harshest condemnation of "Israel's" attacks on Palestinians, calling the death and destruction in Gaza over the last two months "intolerable" and blasting Israeli cabinet ministers for their "totally unacceptable" support for illegal settlements in the West Bank.
David Lammy, the shadow Foreign Secretary, condemned Israeli authorities for "turning a blind eye" to settlers' violence in the West Bank, which has "forcibly displaced" more than 1,000 Palestinians since October 7.
He criticized far-right ministers for pouring huge sums into the budget for settlements, which jeopardizes any hope of a political solution, while “defunding the Palestinian Authority and promoting dangerous and extreme rhetoric about Palestinians."
In a letter in The Observer, Lammy demanded that the UK government of Rishi Sunak impose travel bans on Israelis involved in settlement violence. “The people of Gaza, like the people of the West Bank, must know that a Labour government, with the international community, will not tolerate their expulsion,” he wrote. He also emphasized that "Israel" needs to "clearly affirm" the right of return for Palestinians who have been displaced since October 7.
In a similar event, Former Chairman of the British Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, claimed on Monday that "Israel" is ethnically cleansing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
In a tweet on the X, Corbyn stated that the Israeli practices violate international law, emphasizing that they cannot be justified as a response to the events of October 7th.

In its latest report, the Palestinian Health Ministry said the death toll from the war has surpassed 17,700 Palestinian martyrs, and more than 56,000 citizens were injured with various injuries.
