Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem praised Iran's resilience against US-Israeli pressure, vowing to defend Lebanon and backing Palestinian Resistance movements while condemning US dominance and recent attacks on Iran's nuclear program.

The secretary-general of Hezbollah stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran "faced an Israeli-American-global aggression, built on falsehoods, and entirely baseless claims."

He pointed out that the Islamic Republic, which emerged strong 46 years ago, has managed to bring about significant change at both the regional and global levels, stressing that "the central objective of Israel and America is to undermine any independent force that supports resistance in our region, and any movement that seeks the liberation of Palestine."

Sheikh Naim Qassem went on to say that Iran’s real "crime" in their eyes was standing with Palestine, al-Quds, and the Palestinian people as they fight to reclaim their occupied homeland, stressing that the Israeli war on Iran was just another step in its broader campaign of expansionism.

Iran has emerged stronger after the war

The secretary-general affirmed that "Iran after the war is the same as Iran before it; only stronger, and it remains a steadfast supporter of the resistance," adding that Tehran "has firmly established its regional and international standing through its convictions and choices, never conceding an inch."

He highlighted that "Israel" has, yet again, shown it cannot last a day without constant US support, while stressing that Iran has proven it can stand firm against what he described as "America’s global arrogance", alongside Israel and with significant European backing.

Sheikh Qassem explained that the Islamic Republic has thwarted the three main objectives of the aggression: halting uranium enrichment, destroying the missile program, and enacting a regime change, emphasizing Iran's resilience against these attacks.

Turning to Lebanon's affairs, he declared, "We in Hezbollah fully support Iran's sovereign decisions while opposing US occupation and hegemony," emphasizing that "capitulating to foreign demands is not an option. We're determined to preserve Lebanon's dignity for future generations and will continue our resistance regardless of how heavy the price may be."
