Beirut Sports City hosted the ‘Sayyed’s Generations’ festival, under the slogan: “We are committed to the pledge, O Nasrallah.” The event commemorated the martyrdom anniversary Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, and celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Imam Mahdi Scouts Association.
The festival brought together over 70,000 scouts from across Lebanon, drawing significant official attendance. The Imam Mahdi Scouts’ musical band performed specially composed tunes for the occasion, while the scouts formed the phrase “Sayyed's Generations” on the southern stand of the Sports City.
Following the arrival of the Lebanese flag bearers and the Imam Mahdi Scouts, Nazih Fayyad, General Commissioner of the Imam Mahdi Scouts Association, laid a wreath at the symbolic monument of Sayyed Hassan. The ceremony then proceeded with a swearing of allegiance, a collective Quranic recitation, and a moment of respect for the Lebanese national anthem, accompanied by performances from the Imam Mahdi Scouts.
The program also featured a review of companies from various scouting units, including the Cub Scouts Circle, Sailors, Wilderness, Rovers, Leaders, and Community Service Teams Circles.
