Shots fired at Israeli vehicle near Palestinian town: Israeli media
The Palestinian town of Hawara is a stronghold of resistance against Israeli settlers and the IOF's violence on daily basis.

The occupation forces closed the Hawara checkpoint in both directions.
Israeli media reported that shots were fired at a vehicle driven by a settler as it passed near the northern occupied West Bank town of Hawara before dawn on Friday.
The settler was slightly injured by the window glass that shattered due to the shooting, according to Israeli media.
Simultaneously, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) issued a statement that says that "the Israeli troops launched a manhunt for the suspect, closing off entrances to Hawara and several other neighboring northern West Bank villages."
The occupation forces have also closed the Hawara checkpoint in both directions, as well as the Zatara checkpoint.
Hawara has long been forced to resist the Israeli settlers and the IOF's violence on daily basis. Settlers usually attack Palestinians and their homes, smashing citizens' vehicles, storming holy sites, throwing stones, and shooting live bullets all while being protected by the IOF.
In a similar context, a Palestinian man was wounded in his hand by gunfire and five others suffered from bruises and fractures on Thursday, as settlers attacked them in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, while under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
The injuries included five with multiple fractures, two elderly citizens with bruises, the mayor of Sinjil Moataz Tawafasha, members of the municipal council, and a Palestinian with a live bullet in his hand. The settlers attacked the property of citizens and completely destroyed five cars.
Moreover, the IOF murdered a young 17-year-old Palestinian, Haitham Hani Mubarak, on Thursday near the main entrance of Beitin village, northeast of Ramallah, in the central West Bank.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that Younis Ghassan Tayeh, 21, was shot dead by the occupation during confrontations that erupted with the Israeli occupation forces in the Fara’a camp in the city of Tubas.
The Ministry of Health said martyr Younis was hit by a bullet straight to the heart, fired by the occupation forces in Al-Fara'a camp in the Tubas governorate.
IOF killed at least 90 Palestinians this year, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
The martyrs are mostly teens and children, not to mention veteran journalist — Al Jazeera’s Shireen Abu Akleh.
And to add insult to injury, IOF began August 5 its aggression on the Gaza Strip, which left more than 50 martyrs, including 16 children.
