The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) has documented the deaths of 31 individuals across Syria on Tuesday, March 25, in a series of violent incidents that claimed the lives of both civilians and military personnel.
According to the Observatory, the toll includes 14 individuals who were killed earlier in the month but were only recently verified. The remaining fatalities were recorded in the provinces of Latakia, Hama, Tartus, Daraa, Deir Ezzor, Hasakah, Raqqa, and Rural Damascus. Among them were seven individuals killed in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Koayiah, in western Daraa.
These developments come amid a worsening security situation in government-controlled areas, where a surge in assassinations has fueled criticism of Syrian security agencies and allied armed groups. Critics point to a growing climate of lawlessness, with targeted killings becoming a frequent occurrence, especially against minorities.
The latest toll follows an even deadlier wave of violence just days earlier when SOHR reported 72 fatalities across Syria in a single day, marking one of the bloodiest assassination sprees in recent months.
