Sunday developments are a marker of shame for "Israel": Israeli media
Israeli media outlets and commentators have taken special interest in Hezbollah's escalating operation on the northern front, saying that Yoav Gallant's warnings did not deter the Resistance party.
Today's unfolding events mark the most intense clashes since the battle ensued in the north, Israeli Channel 12's anchor said on Sunday in reference to Hezbollah's escalating operations.
Nir Dvori, a military correspondent for Channel 12, said that Sunday's developments are a marker of shame for "Israel", adding that Hezbollah had already crossed the red line that Israeli Security Minister Yoav Gallant spoke of.
Gallant had previously said that the Israeli public would know if Hezbollah crossed the red line when Lebanon's capital, Beirut gets bombed.
"If Nasrallah makes a mistake, the fate of Beirut will be like the fate of Gaza," Gallant claimed after Hezbollah's Secretary-General made a speech commemorating Martyr's Day on Saturday.
Hezbollah does what it wants
Moreover, Dvori pointed to the 24 evacuated settlements in northern occupied Palestine and the mounting death toll of Israeli occupation soldiers, as a result of Hezbollah's operations. Therefore, he says that confrontations in the north of occupied Palestine are just as dangerous to "Israel" as the evolving events in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli TV channel's correspondent from northern occupied Palestine, Gay Varon, said that despite Gallant's warnings to Hezbollah, the group continues to escalate its rate of fire towards Israeli positions.
He also revealed that settlers in northern occupied Palestine are questioning the Israeli government's complacency and lack of action.
According to the correspondent, settlers are asking, "What should happen so that the government decides to restrict Hezbollah, which does what it wants and fires as it wishes?"

Hezbollah intensified operations on the northern front
Hezbollah carried out two consecutive operations on Sunday in support of Gaza and Palestine, targeting Israeli vehicles near the "Dovev" military barracks.
The first operation hit an Israeli logistics unit, which was working on erecting spyware, surveillance antennas, and hardware in a newly established outpost near the barracks. Hezbollah confirmed direct hits, announcing casualties among the convoy's crew members who were killed or injured.
Meanwhile, the second operation, targeted and destroyed an Israeli bulldozer, killing its crew and wounding soldiers in its vicinity.
Later on, Israeli media said the number of injuries as a result of the attacks is 14.
Plumes of smoke were seen rising from the barracks, which is opposite the Lebanese town of Rmeish, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.
Furthermore, the Islamic Resistance targeted several Israeli occupation sites in northern occupied Palestine.
Israeli media reported that anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) targeted "Yiftah" in northern occupied Palestine.
