This prompts the question of Biden's fate in the reelection, knowing that he reached a historic low beneath former presidents who were widely disliked and proven incompetent.

US President Joe Biden has been the main topic in terms of favorability and approval among the American populace.

At the moment of his election, Joe Biden had a 53.1% popularity, which later dropped to the low 40s for the rest of his presidency. However, in July of 2022, a poll recorded a major dip to 38.2% in approval, the lowest Biden's presidency has seen.

The American Research Group conducted a poll from December 17 to 20, which found that Biden's approval among Americans sunk to 37%, while disapproval soared to 57%. Accumulating all recent polls on the matter, Biden's final approval rate stagnates at 39.3%.

Taking this into context, Biden scored lower than several previous presidents who ran for reelection and lost, including Donald Trump. Even looking at Trump's 1,074th day in office and comparing it to Biden's, Trump scored significantly higher in terms of approval but later lost to Biden.

Comparing Bush's score at that point to Biden, the latter lagged in a whopping 12.5%. In Jimmy Carter's case, Biden also fell behind by almost 10%.

This prompts the question of Biden's fate in the reelection, knowing that he has reached a historic low beneath former presidents who were widely disliked and proven incompetent.

Boeing stock rises after Trump secures major Gulf deals

A Washington Post columnist on Friday compiled a list of the "10 worst things Biden did in 2023," with both his decision to seek reelection and the "slow roll" in providing aid to Ukraine ranking as the top issues.

Marc Thiessen, a former speechwriter for President George W. Bush and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, ranked Biden's announcement to run for reelection as the foremost among his "worst" decisions.

Taking the second position on the list was Biden's delay in providing aid to Ukraine. Thiessen expressed dissatisfaction with the nearly year-long process it took for Biden to approve the delivery of M1A1 Abrams tanks to Kiev.

Additionally, he criticized the President for hesitating to supply longer-range missiles, causing a delay in the training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16s, and offering what he deemed insufficient air defense capabilities to Ukraine.

In the third spot, the columnist criticized Biden for preventing allies from offering Ukraine a clear path to NATO membership, citing concerns about provoking Russia.

The list also holds Biden responsible for what is described as "the worst border crisis in US history," attacks on US occupation troops in the Middle East, the Chinese spy balloon crisis, and an alleged failure to address alleged "antisemitism on the left."

Among the "worst things" this year are Biden's bypassing of the Supreme Court on student loan forgiveness, increasing US dependence on Russian uranium, and exacerbating "the child-care crisis."

None of the points mentioned US support for the Israeli-led genocide in Gaza, nor was the escalating tension in the Middle East acknowledged as being due to US complicity in "Israel's" war crimes.
