A Wall Street Journal survey released on Wednesday has indicated that former US President Donald Trump leads in six of 7 swing states ahead of the 2024 presidential elections, despite profound doubts about Joe Biden's capacity to govern and displeasure with the economy

The survey indicated that Trump leads Biden by 2-8 percentage points in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina on ballots that include and omit third-party and independent candidates.

In a different critical battleground state, Wisconsin, Biden leads by three points on multi-candidate ballots, but he and Trump are deadlocked when they are the only candidates on the ballot.

However, both are running for president with a "tarnished image," according to the survey. Biden has the highest negative opinions among voters, in part because he looks to be unable to hold together his 2020 coalitions particularly due to declining support among Hispanic, Black, and younger voters.

When questioned about the candidates' physical and mental condition, just 28% of those polled believed Biden was in a better overall shape to manage the White House, while 48% said Trump was more qualified.

The Washington Post also reported that Biden's presidential campaign promoted a series of advertisements aimed at appealing to Nikki Haley's supporters to garner their support and votes.

According to a poll announced last month, strong voter disapproval of Joe Biden's job performance has hit 47%, the greatest negative polling percentage at any point during his administration. According to a Siena College survey commissioned by The New York Times, Biden presently trails likely Republican contender Donald Trump by 43% to 48% among registered voters nationwide.

'Biden poses a bigger threat to US democracy than Trump': RFK Jr.

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stated that Joe Biden poses a bigger threat to American democracy than former President Donald Trump, due to Biden's tactic of mobilizing federal establishments to oppress and silence his rivals throughout the elections.

In an interview with CNN, Kennedy revealed he was blocked on several social media platforms during Biden's incumbency, a move he regarded as political censorship commanded by Biden and the White House in violation of the First Amendment of America’s constitution.

Kennedy emphasized that although Trump played a significant role in igniting the January 6 riots, Biden still posed a bigger threat to US democracy.

“The question was, who is a worse threat to democracy? And what I would say is … I’m not going to answer that question. But I can argue that President Biden is, because the First Amendment, Erin, is the most important,” he told CNN host Erin Burnett.

In December, the Supreme Court prohibited Kennedy's involvement in a lawsuit regarding the Biden administration's correspondence with social media platforms regarding content deemed disinformation. Additionally, the politician had a comparable case awaiting judgment in a lower court.
