Turkish official denies reports of expulsion of Hamas officials
A previous report by Al-Monitor surfaced, claiming that Hamas officials were "politely sent away" from the country.
According to the Times of Israel, a Turkish government official revealed that a previous report by Al-Monitor which alleged that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expelled the leaders of Hamas from Turkey was untrue.
According to Al-Monitor writer Fehim Tastekin, Haniyeh was "politely sent away" by Turkish authorities after a video of Haniyeh performing a gratitude prayer surfaced on October 7.
Given the intensifying Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Turkey's defense ministry announced on Monday that the nation's air force, under the command of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is organizing four flights carrying humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip.
Turkish drone manufacturer Baykar promised the Gaza Strip $10 million in humanitarian aid last week.
A UN convoy crossed the border into Egypt at Rafah on Saturday to bring the first shipment of humanitarian aid from abroad to the Gaza Strip. Earlier this morning, the second relief convoy made its arrival.
On October 9, Erdogan urged "Israel" not to "indiscriminately" strike civilians.
"Harming the people of Gaza collectively and indiscriminately would further increase the suffering and the spiral of violence in the region," Erdogan's office warned the office of the Israeli President.
Erdogan also announced that Turkey would "continue to make efforts to end the conflicts."
Hamas will shock IOF in any ground invasion as it did in Al-Aqsa Flood
Hamas Spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanou, told Al Mayadeen, that if the Israeli occupation dares follow through with its threats of a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, the Resistance will shock the Israeli occupation forces just as it shocked them in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7.
The Palestinian Resistance, said al-Qanou, has the capabilities to thwart this ground attack, indicating that this being a known issue, the occupation appears to be rethinking this step.
Al-Qanou also stressed that while the West appears to grant the foreign captives being held in the Gaza Strip a great deal of attention, there are clear double standards when it comes to the two million Palestinians suffering under the ongoing Israeli aggression.
