This morning, the Israeli occupation forces acknowledged that an officer and a soldier among its ranks were killed, while another two were severely wounded, in the ongoing ground battles with the Palestinian Resistance in the northern Gaza Strip.

Under the “permitted to publish” clause, Israeli media announced that the two dead officers, a master sergeant in the army reserve and a sergeant major in the reserve, were serving under the 14th Armored 87th battalion.

Moreover, two other soldiers were seriously injured, one of whom serves under the 52nd Battalion (Reserve) and was taking part in the northern Gaza Strip battles, and a military medic in the patrol company in the 6261st Battalion, affiliated with the 261st Brigade, in the Gaza envelope region.

With this, the death toll of the Israeli occupation since October 7 is now 526, 192 of whom were killed since the start of the ground battles in the Gaza Strip, according to Israeli media.

Day 103: Resistance is still going strong

The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced in its latest operations that its fighters successfully targeted two Israeli tanks with al-Yassin 105 shells and an occupation military bulldozer using two anti-armor devices in Khan Younis, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The Brigades added that it confronted an Israeli occupation infantry force from close range and destroyed a gathering of occupation vehicles and soldiers with mortar shells, also in the city of Khan Younis.

In Gaza City, particularly east of al-Tuffah neighborhood, al-Qassam launched mortar shells at Israeli gatherings and aimed at an Israeli troop carrier on Jabal al-Rais. This led to confrontations with soldiers who were close to the carrier.

Al-Qassam Brigades also confirmed that these soldiers were killed or wounded, adding that Israeli ambulances and helicopters were seen rushing to recover the dead and wounded. Furthermore, al-Qassam fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli forces to the north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, bombarding them with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
