According to a statement by UN experts, the targeting of the Jabalia refugee camp is not only in violation of international law but also a war crime.
The Palestinian Health Ministry revealed in its latest report that the number of martyrs in the ongoing Israeli crimes across Palestine exceeded 9,000, including 3,760 children, 2,326 women, and 32,000 people injured with various wounds.
"Attacking a camp sheltering civilians, including women and children, is a complete breach of the rules of proportionality and distinction between combatants and civilians," the experts stated.
The statement also explained that "time is running out" in order to prevent genocide in Gaza.
"We remain convinced that the Palestinian people are at grave risk of genocide."
The experts, pointing out that the situation in Gaza has reached a "catastrophic tipping point," cautioned about the impending health risks and the urgent need for food, water, medications, gasoline, and other necessities.
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the twenty-seventh day in a row, committing bloody massacres and tightening its siege on the Strip.
Local media reported that the occupation committed a new massacre in the residential neighborhood separating al-Khulafa al-Rashidun Square and al-Hoja Street in the center of the Jabalia refugee camp, where the occupation aircraft bombed an entire residential square in conjunction with heavy artillery shelling, which led to several martyrs and wounded.
Meanwhile, civil defense crews are searching for people still under the rubble after a house belonging to the Anbar family was targeted, while 19 people have been reported killed so far.
