Quoting an Israeli security source, Israeli media confirm that there is no information on disputes within the Hamas movement affecting the exchange deal negotiations.

Channel 12's political affairs commentator, Yaron Abraham, mentioned that "Israel" is still awaiting Hamas' official position on the plan formulated at the summit in Paris.

Abraham added, "At that time, there was an understanding that the process would occur by the week's end. However, the schedule shifted, with the anticipated meetings in Cairo being postponed."

He clarified, "Hence, in Israel, they anticipate receiving the final response tomorrow or perhaps the day after, indicating the possibility of entering negotiations. However, this doesn't imply a finalized deal." He questioned, "Will Israel receive this signal from Hamas?"

Abraham emphasized, "Concerning the matter raised in American newspapers over the weekend about whether the obstruction stemmed from tension between Yahya Sinwar and Ismail Haniyeh, an Israeli security source informed me: We are not aware of any internal tension affecting the deal."

Late last month, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, announced that the movement received a proposal for a ceasefire after talks in Paris and that they will be looking into it.

Haniyeh emphasized that the priority was to end the military aggression and achieve a complete withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from Gaza.

He also affirmed that he would visit Cairo for discussions on the Paris proposal for a ceasefire, adding that the movement was open to all ideas that could achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.
