US army convoy comes under attack in Saladin, Iraq
A US army convoy is hit in Iraq amid constant threats from Iraqi Resistance forces against any American presence in the country.
Iraqi news sources on Sunday reported that a convoy belonging to the US army was targeted in the country.
The US logistics convoy was targeted in Iraq's Saladin, according to Sabreen News. No groups or individuals have yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Attacks on US convoys have increased over the past two years in Iraq, and some groups have been able to target US military bases in Ain Al-Assad in Al-Anbar Province, which is repeatedly targeted, Al-Harir in Erbil, and Victoria Base near Baghdad International Airport.
Resistance groups in Iraq have repeatedly stated that they would confront American forces, which they deem an occupation, in case of their presence in their country.

Three US military convoys targeted
Last year, at least two missiles landed in Baghdad's Green Zone, causing substantial damage after the "C-Ram" security system failed to intercept them.
Sources told Al Mayadeen that the missiles were launched from a nearby base, targeting the US embassy in the Green Zone, with one landing behind Al-Rahman Mosque in Al-Mansour area.
Al Mayadeen reporter also disclosed the targeting of two convoys belonging to the logistical support division of the US army in Nasiriyah, southern Iraq, in conjunction with the targeting of a third convoy affiliated with the US forces in Diwaniyah, in the south of the country.
