IRGC announces targeting an Israeli "strategic center" in Erbil
In response to "Israel's" latest crimes, the IRGC announces targeting an Israeli strategic center for conspiracy, stressing that Iran's security is a red line.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) officially announced Sunday the targeting of an Israeli "strategic center" in Iraq with missiles, after Kurdish authorities in northern Iraq reported cross-border missile fire.
According to an IRGC statement, a "strategic center for conspiracy and mischiefs of the Zionists was targeted by powerful precision missiles fired by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps," following the Israeli occupation's recent crimes.
The IRGC warned that the repetition of any evil acts by "Israel" will be faced by "harsh, decisive, and destructive responses."
The statement underscored that "the security and peace of the Islamic homeland is the red line of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and they will not allow anyone to threaten or attack it."
It is noteworthy that Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that more than 10 ballistic missiles hit the vicinity of Erbil early Sunday morning, adding that explosions were heard in the area.
Meanwhile, sources told Al Mayadeen that the attack was carried out with several ballistic missiles, and they accurately hit a Mossad base.
The same sources added that the attack did not target any Iraqi or US facility, affirming that the Mossad site on the way to Saladin resort was destroyed, and enemy collaborators were killed and wounded.
“The operation against the Mossad has nothing to do with the latest Israeli attack in Syria”, the sources noted.
The sources said that this operation is a response to previous Israeli attacks against Iran that were launched from Iraqi Kurdistan, stressing that the Iranian response to the martyrdom of the two IRGC soldiers in Syria at the hands of "Israel" will take place in due course.
The Revolution Guards Corps vowed to respond to the martyrdom of its soldiers.
“Undoubtedly, the Zionist regime will pay the price of this atrocity,” the IRGC's Public Relations Office stressed.
