Sources reported to Al Mayadeen that they heard several explosions inside a US base in the city of Al-Shaddadi, south of Hasakah in Syria, on Monday.

The sources said that the sounds are likely to be the result of "a drone belonging to the Islamic Resistance factions in Iraq targeting the base with several missiles."

Two days ago, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced the execution of 11 operations against US bases in one day in Iraq and Syria, using dozens of rockets and drones.

Abu Ali Al-Askari, a leader in the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades, confirmed that the Resistance operations against the US occupation "will continue until its withdrawal from Iraq."

In further detail, an Iraqi military official said, as quoted by AFP, that three rockets targeted the vicinity of the US Embassy located in the Green Zone in Baghdad on Friday morning.

"A multi-rocket attack was launched at US and Coalition forces in the vicinity of Union III and the Baghdad embassy complex" without causing any reported casualties or damage, a US official said.

Iraqi Resistance: Enemy to see blows until Palestine's liberation

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has repeatedly emphasized that US bases in Syria and Iraq are legitimate targets for themو due to the crucial role and support of the United States for "Israel" in its war on Gaza.

The Brigades said in a statement in November, that the legendary steadfastness of the Palestinian people "in the face of the brutality of the Zionists, supported by the latest American military and intelligence machines, in addition to the support of England, France, and other Western countries, would not have been possible without their patience and belief in the necessity of regaining their rights stolen from the usurping entity."

The statement also touched on the US involvement in the deprivation of the Palestinian people of their rights and freedom while also supporting the aggression against them, including but not limited to the besieging of cities, cutting off water, food, and medicine, the destruction of buildings, displacing civilians, storming and bombing mosques and hospitals, and killing women and children.

The US Department of Defense recently stated that the rate of attacks against the US military in Iraq and Syria has increased by 45% in the last three weeks.
