US hands Israelis time of mere weeks to achieve 'war goals': WSJ
A statement by US officials cited by WSJ says that the mounting international pressure could prompt "Israel" to end its invasion by early next year.
A former deputy national security adviser in "Israel", Eran Etzion, stated that the Palestinian Resistance "has a chance of surviving the war" if the pressure keeps mounting on "Israel" to end its invasion in Gaza.
This follows a statement by US officials that the mounting international pressure could prompt "Israel" to end its invasion by early next year, especially if civilian casualties continue at high levels.
“While the U.S. believes Israel has only weeks left, it’s going to be difficult for Israel to achieve its war goals within weeks,” Etzion said, adding: “It’s a weakness that Hamas has surely identified.”
"Israel" has continued to refuse the timeline it has been given by the US, US officials claimed to WSJ.
The United States has sent multiple signals, noting that "Israel" would only have "weeks" in the Strip even though Hamas remains "far from being defeated," Etzion said.
In a similar context, Maariv also noted that the continued presence of the elite Hezbollah unit, Radwan, at the northern border of occupied Palestine meant that Israeli settlers situated in settlements along the border would not return to their homes.
Being the upper hand
A report published by The Sunday Times last week said the Occupation has lost control of events, adding that the captives held by the Resistance gave Hamas the upper hand, which, as per the newspaper, the group is skilled at using.

With growing pressure, both from the entity's internal front and foreign powers, on top of which is the US, the Resistance in Gaza knew that the Israeli war cabinet would be forced into this truce and exchange deal and, thus, made its best efforts to enhance its negotiating position for maximum political gain.
The skepticism of the United States toward "Israel's" aggressive war as a strategy to bring back the captives was apparent during the October 18 meeting between President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The subsequent release of two Americans held by al-Qassam led to US support for Qatar's proposal of a ceasefire and negotiations, signaling a departure from solely military solutions suggested by "Tel Aviv".
Today, the temporary truce between the Resistance in Gaza and the Israeli occupation entity, brokered by Qatar and Egypt, expired at 7:00 am Friday without any announcement of its extension.
Shortly after, "Israel" renewed its aggression across Gaza, bombing the Strip indiscriminately.
Palestinian media sources reported that 8 martyrs were killed as a result of the occupation aircraft bombing several areas in the Gaza Strip, including Al-Aqsa TV cameraman Abdallah Darwish who was martyred in the occupation raids on the Gaza Strip.
