US military occupation bases in Iraq, Syria under fire
The Iraqi resistance, once again, targets Ain al-Assad base in Iraq, this time using two UAVs.
Two United States occupation military bases in Syria and Iraq have come under attack, MEHR quoted Arab media as saying.
Ain al-Assad base in Iraq came under attack, and shortly after, an Iraqi Resistance group claimed responsibility, revealing that the operation was carried out using two UAVs.
Concurrently, local sources in Syria reported that the US bases in the Conoco gas field and al-Omar gas field were subjected to missile attacks.
Meanwhile, a US military official admitted that a total of four bases where US troops are stationed in the Middle East were attacked yesterday, as per NBC News, claiming that the rockets didn't result in any casualties or infrastructure damage.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for one of these attacks, saying it targeted US and coalition occupation forces at Ain al-Assad airbase in Iraq.
Three other bases were also attacked in the region, the senior military official said today. The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for more information.
